Post-OP Instructions After your Endodontic treatment you may feel some soreness in the area where the work was performed. You will need to follow certain protocol given by your doctor. After completion of your Endodontic treatment, you will be referred back to your dentist for placing restoration, most probably a crown, on the treated tooth. Remember, an Endodontically treated tooth, is still susceptible to decay and periodontal disease so please keep good oral hygiene. Your own tooth has no real substitute.
Success of Root Canal Treatment Success of Root Canal treatment depends on through cleaning and shaping of the root canal system and proper three dimentional root canal filling. Also the success will depend on properly restored tooth following root canal treatment. |
