Re-Treatment of Endodontic Procedure

On rare occasions, routine Endodontic treatment may fail to relieve symptoms, or the tooth may become symptomatic months or years following the root canal treatment. During this treatment, the tooth is reopened, and the root canal filling material is removed, the root canal system is re-cleaned, shaped, and resealed. This procedure may require multiple office visits depending on the difficulty of the case.
